MY ARTISTIC PHILOSOPHY AND INSPIRATION

What Moves Me

Abstract painting that brings color, soul, and connection home.

For me, abstract painting is an invitation for each of us to explore, feel, and discover our own connection.

I am fascinated by the way color, texture, movement and unexpected relationships can stir emotions, awaken memories, and spark imagination,

My paintings evolve intuitively from organic shapes, marks, and multiple. Using unconventional tools like scrapers and an electric sander, I experiment, emphasize the parts that move me, and carry on an ongoing conversation with the canvas the painting evolves. I balance spontaneity with thoughtful composition, allowing each painting to reveal its own character.

But what excites me most is what happens when someone connects with a painting in a way I never imagined.

Enchantment - SOLD

I was drawn to this masterpiece like a magnet because of both calm and joy she made me feel. I could feel her vibrant, unfiltered energy.

Infinite Possibility

A Zen practitioner once looked at my painting of Infinite Possibility and saw what he called the "pond of life."

"If you see the pond," he told me, "you're not in it; you're above the chaos of life."

His interpretation gave me an entirely new perspective on my own work!

That's the magic of art.

A painting doesn't have to tell everyone the same story. What you see may be entirely different from what I intended - and that's what makes the experience so personal.

I believe the most meaningful art doesn't simply fill a space. It creates a connection, invites curiosity, and gives us something new to discover each time we look.

What do YOU see in this painting, Infinite Possibility? I'd love to hear what it brings to mind.
